Floriade Venlo 2012

Floriade, the decennial World Horticulture Fair, will take place from April to October 2012:
- on a site of 66 hectares of which 40 hectares exhibition area,
- with 90 Dutch and 25 international participants from all over the world
- for an expected 2 million visitors,
- in the heart of Greenport Venlo, the second largest horticultural area in the Netherlands
- at the intersection of international airports and roads, waterways and rail routes, making the Venlo region the Netherlands’ third-largest logistics hub,
- with some thirty million consumers within a two-hour radius.

A Global Experience

Floriade 2012 is more than just world horticulture fair. It is a global experience of everything to do with horticulture. Floriade 2012 is the stage of the theatre in nature, where the visitor gets closer to the quality of life.

At the same time, it is a platform for clever innovations and inspiring ideas from across the world which are ready to go to market – an international rendezvous and platform of knowledge. More than that, it is the display window for sustainable development. At Floriade 2012, the world can explore cradle to cradle (C2C) in practice. The C2C concept calls for construction and production processes to be set up such that the raw materials are always reusable. If they are not reusable, they must be able to serve as a raw material for a subsequent product: waste is food.

The C2C concept is not only more sustainable than the usual recycling methods up to now; it is also an interesting economic concept. Floriade 2012 will measure itself against this concept and is seeking to join forces with entrepreneurs and suppliers whose work is innovative and sustainable.

GreenPark Venlo and ZON Fresh Park

Floriade 2012 will take place on the site of the future GreenPark Venlo, located in a unique location, close to Amsterdam and Dusseldorf, committed to develop knowledge and to innovate in products and production processes with the main emphasis on horticulture.

ZON Fresh Park in Venlo is the location for Fresh & Food partners. A unique site on the east-west Rotterdam - German Ruhr Region axis. A place with a varied cluster of well over 100 companies supplying fresh products or related services, with the logistic power to serve all over Europe and the economic capacity and diversity to create an environment stimulating inventiveness and growth.

2012 芙萝莉雅德园艺博览会（Floriade 2012）

10年一度的芙萝莉雅德世界园艺博览会将于2012年4月至10月期间举行：
- 总占地面积66公顷，其中40公顷为展览面积；
- 已报名的有90家荷兰参展商和25家来自世界各地的国际参展商；
- 预计将有200万参观者；
- 展览将在芬洛绿港的心脏地带举行，芬洛绿港是荷兰第二大园艺区；

世界体验

Floriade 2012期间，世人可以从实践的角度深入了解“摇篮到摇篮（C2C）”的内在涵义。C2C概念是倡导建筑和生产过程必须以这样一种方式实施，即原材料总是可以重复使用。如果不能重复使用，它们必须能作为下一个产品的原材料：废物即食物。C2C概念不仅比到目前为止最常使用的循环回收方法更具可持续性，它也是一个有趣的经济概念。Floriade 2012将以这一概念作为衡量标准，并寻求与那些从事创新和可持续性工作的企业家和供应商合作。

芬洛绿园和ZON鲜品园
Floriade 2012将在芬洛未来的绿园地点举办。绿园将是一个面向公司和机构的先进的商务园区，位置独特，靠近阿姆斯特丹和杜塞尔多夫，致力于知识发展和园艺重点方面产品和生产过程的创新。位于芬洛的ZON鲜品园是为从事新鲜产品和食品的合作伙伴设立，位置独特，处于东-西鹿特丹-德国鲁耳的轴线上。这里有一百多家提供各种各样新鲜产品或相关服务的公司。ZON鲜品园能提供遍布欧洲的物流服务，也具有经济能力和多样性从而创造出一个能刺激创造力和发展的环境。
